Promising: Spielberg’s Tintin Movie

14 Jul

The news that Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are teaming up for the film adaptation of the landmark Belgian comic series Tintin is extremely promising.  The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn already has a first rate cast to match the production team.  There’s even a blog set up to follow the movie’s development.

Besides the Time Warp Trio, Tintin was probably my most significant childhood reading experience.  It’s hard to tell if the story of a stilish and enterprising young Belgian reporter informed my adult interests or if it was the other way around.  Either way, this is a movie I look forward to seeing.

EVEN AS both the 20th Anniversary of the Tiennamen Massacre AND the staggeringly important 60th Anniversary of the KOREAN WAR were, again, ‘mystertiously overlooked’
—still more RED China franchise slum enabling product
from the ever lucratively ‘clueless’ bedroom princes of
    eugenics ‘friendly’ Hollywood…

Remember kids! –eugenics IS genocide and YOU-genocide
    WILL mean —YOU…

    SO, enjoy those movies!
